The staff seemed very confused and kept coming up to ask different questions or repeat what another staff member had already said. When we were seated the staff gave us a long list of things we couldn’t order as they didn’t have the ingredients which was kind of disappointing. Everything looked so pretty from the pink theme to the neon lights! We were seated straight away as it wasn’t so busy. The decor was veryyyyy pink but looked so cool. We would definitely like to go back to give them a second chance and try different drinks and maybe some cakes as they have a huge variety of both - but not anytime soon. I think places like this focus more on their decor than food. The Nutella French toast (£11.95) was nice but pretty basic and the Mocha (£4) was quite actually decent! 😅 Overall, we had high expectations for EL&N - but we were just left hungry and disappointed. The Chicken Focaccia (£10.50) was not great, it was cold, the cheese was too thick and overpowering and would have tasted better if there was less cheese and if it was melted - was slightly disappointing as this is a basic dish to make and was still lacking flavour especially for that price.
